Jaltepec Hospitality School has become known for the formation and training of hundreds of women for over 40 years, changing many lives and families. In looking to our country's future, we realize that today, in addition to the professional training, the development of virtues, of the transmission of a more human and worthy vision of the person, of the woman, the family and the service, it is essential to offer work opportunities, to impel generating money-making projects, to offer the necessary tools so that the persons are capable of exploiting and of making use to the maximum of all their capacities and resources with which they are provided, not only for personal benefit but for that of their immediate communities, and in turn, all of Mexico.

It is for this reason that the Entrepreneurial Program at Jaltepec was started 2 years ago. This project has given the pupils an opportunity to experience the application of their talents in a creative, productive project, opening them to new horizons. Our mission is to develop knowledge, skills and attitudes in our pupils that will make them competent in their personal and professional life. The Entrepreneurial Program is an excellent exercise of virtues needed to successfully face the challenges raised by today's society. We hope that these projects will become, not just a small family business, but through a lot of effort and perseverance, larger companies in the framework of Mexico's future strength.

We anticipate the growth of these projects--not to remain school projects only, but through answering of challenges and hurdles, the beginning of big opportunities for these qualified graduates of the Jaltepec Hospitality School. --Director General Laura Hernandez,at the Jaltepec Expo 2008 , August 3, 2008
